For my next feature, I knew I definitely wanted to feature a theme very much inspired by an aspect of the new year yet until now struggled to come up with something relevant to my interests. I really don't go in for the glitz, fireworks and celebrations of the new year, often likening it to a gaudy mess of an affair. In my mind it's almost a leftover of the heady experience of Christmas with none of the heart. Thinking on it some more I realised that many people enter the new year with a new and more positive perspective on life and treat it almost as a chance to rebirth a brand new self. I like the idea of that. I like the process of rebirth and transformation. I like the hopeful mindset so many shall have at one moment; the view that the sky is the limit.

Here is a feature about positivity, about fun, exuberance and that celebrates photography that captures those first brave steps into the unknown. I hope you enjoy.
